Founded by Jim “Mac” McNamara in 200x, the McNamara Baseball Group (MBG) emerged from Mac’s successful career as a representative and recruiter with a leading baseball agency. Mac set out to create a unique vision of player representation, grounded in trust, experience, honesty, and integrity.
MBG is dedicated to serving and advocating for players, building a sterling reputation in the industry that reflects the quality of our clients and associates. Based in Phoenix, MBG enjoys proximity to Major League ballparks, spring training sites, rookie ball venues, and top amateur programs at the collegiate and high school levels.
Our team comprises experts with decades of professional baseball experience, including three former Major League players with extensive knowledge in hitting, pitching, and catching. Additionally, our professionals specialize in handling off-the-field concerns, covering areas such as law, strength training, research, marketing, and public/media relations.

In 2017, while representing Wilmer Flores, MBG Group became the first agency since 2008 to win an arbitration case against the New York Mets.
